REALTOR® Magazine 30 Under 30 Question #10:How are you involved in your community? Describe your charitable contributions. Answer: I place a substantial emphasis on philanthropy in Denver and believe it is important to donate my time and my money. I have three major giving campaigns that I’ve been involved in: 1) Billy Malnati Charitable Giving – When my brother, Billy Malnati, passed away, I was struggling to find a way to grieve his passing. I found that Closings provided me with great joy for obvious reasons, and Closings enabled me an opportunity to remain positive despite my loss so I started donating a portion of my commission in his memory. 2) Hope Communities – I co-chaired/organized a charity and networking event in July 2011 that raised $14,000. 3) Brokers Benefitting Kids with DMCAR – I served on the Board for 2 years. We raised $100,000 during my tenure. ~ Kyle Malnati, Madison Commercial Properties – Madison & Co. Properties REALTOR® Magazine 30 Under 30 Question #11:Where would like to see yourself professionally in the next five years? Answer: My goal in the next five years is to organically grow Madison Commercial Properties into a firm of respected commercial real estate agents. While I will likely recruit some established brokers, I believe that the best path to success in Denver’s commercial real estate market was the methodical approach that I took. My experience as a transaction manager and junior broker was similar to an apprentice learning from a master. I delayed gratification and learned from senior brokers that were more experienced. I am grooming three teammates – Casey Weas, Stephanie Bulthaup, and Ryan Dillon – on the same path currently. Since moving to Madison & Co. Properties, I also oversaw the expansion into a 2nd office in Greenwood Village for our luxury agents. I plan on opening a new Madison & Co. Properties office every two years and growing the company from 35 to 100 agents. ~ Kyle Malnati, Madison Commercial Properties – Madison & Co. Properties
