1031 Exchange: 3 Great Options in Colorado

As commercial real estate agents, we regularly get asked by our clients to refer them to a couple of capable contacts in the 1031 Exchange industry.

While there may seem to be a lot of different options, its important to point out that not all Qualified Intermediaries (QI) are created equal. Its important to make sure that the QI that you select for your tax deferred 1031 Exchange maintains both a fidelity bond and professional liability insurance which will provide you with increased confidence and security. You will want to ask your 1031 Exchange Accommodator if they have segregated bank accounts for each exchange to ensure security and safety of each client’s trust funds.

We find that the majority of our clients continue to have good 1031 Exchange experiences with these THREE:

The purchase and/or sale of real estate has important legal consequences. We would encourage anyone reading this blog post to seek both tax and legal or other counsel before entering into a contract with a specific company.
