Thanks to Kyle’s good friend, Matt Laricy, we closed another Chicago relocation. There’s just something about the beautiful scenery and amazing weather of Colorado that draws transplants from the Windy City.
In this case, our relocation Buyers, two doctors and their kids, got their pick of proximity between three Children’s Hospital campuses (Broomfield, Highlands Ranch, and Aurora/Anchutz).
Our search was anchored around three very different high schools: Erie, Mountain Vista, and Rock Canyon. When the Buyers came to Colorado for a few action-packed days of showings, we set up 15 luxury tours in the following Colorado cities: Lafayette, Broomfield, Superior, Erie, Arvada, Englewood, Greenwood Village, Cherry Hills Village, Centennial, Littleton, Highlands Ranch, and finally, Castle Pines Village. From 8pm-6pm, it was “all-systems-go” to find their dream home with two requirements: 1) psychological space with amazing views 2) unique setup for an au-pair (privacy while having close access to kids)
A fun end to the story… the winning house (942 Aztec Drive in Castle Pines Village) was owned by a former client of Kyle’s. The Seller worked with Kyle 16 years ago; back in 2010 on the sale of their 12-unit apartment building at 1436 North Williams Street. We love it when commercial real estate collides with residential real estate; we call it ResiMercial.
