I’ve written about how the death of my brother, Billy Malnati, has been an impact in my life. Initially, losing Billy felt like it could have a negative impact on my family, but I personally made a strong effort to turn my sorrow into joy. I understood that, despite the difficulties that I was going through, there were others that had it much worse than me. I chose to GIVE so that I would focus on others which led me stop feeling sorry for myself.

30 Under 30 REALTOR Magazine Award Winner – Kyle Malnati
Here is the profile about Kyle Malnati on REALTOR Magazine’s website:
“Most of my clients are other real estate brokers,” says Kyle Malnati, 29, who learned the business from his wife’s cousin, a commercial practitioner, and now specializes in selling Denver apartments. “They are fully capable of selling their investment properties themselves, but they hire me because of my expertise, attention to detail, and candid communication,” he says. “It is a wonderful compliment.” In 2011, Malnati was paid the ultimate compliment; a former client asked him to start the commercial division of his residential firm. But the year was marked with tragedy, too; his younger brother died suddenly from a congenital heart defect. “It was a surreal period of time in my life,” Malnati says. “I harnessed that pain and emotion. My career didn’t stop.”
Tip: “Simply focus on life balance: Be a good spouse, a good parent, a good businessperson, and an active participant in your community.”

REALTOR® Magazine Names Kyle Malnati to “30 Under 30” List
May 16, 2012 — Kyle Malnati of Madison & Company Properties in Denver, Colorado has been named to the “30 Under 30” Class of 2012 by the editors of REALTOR® Magazine. Each year, the magazine recognizes 30 young practitioners who are making a mark in the real estate industry through success in real estate sales, business management, leadership, or community service. This year’s honorees are featured in the May/June 2012 issue of the magazine.
“I am always astonished to see the “30 Under 30” professionals every year and all that they have achieved in such a short amount of time,” said National Association of Realtors® President Moe Veissi in May 16 statement. “What amazes me the most about this year’s class is how they recognize there is no one formula for winning in real estate. They have discovered success their own way and display the dedication and hardworking spirit all Realtors® possess. As Realtors® we are constantly evolving with the market and it’s important to recognize these young people and learn from them, as they are the future of the real estate profession,” said Veissi, broker-owner of Veissi & Associates Inc., in Miami.
REALTOR® Magazine is the official magazine of the National Association of Realtors® and has been honoring young practitioners since the year 2000. For more information and to read profiles of all of this year’s honorees, visit REALTOR® Magazine online at http://realtormag.realtor.org/30-under-30.
